For thousands of years some music had happy or joyous songs. But since 2000 everything sounds like death, hell, devil, evil, doom, damn gloomy. No happyness spirit soul fire life in it anymore. What the hell happened to music in the world in this generation? How did the happiness and joy? get lost in world music so much?

  2. BBQFanNo1 says:

Every instrument is fine in? music to change but the vocals in music should not be messed around with and ruined by overuse of autotune. Also another big problem in music is everything sounds dark, doom, gloomy, and depressing in music since 2000. You do not hear any happy upbeat inspiring joyous songs in new music anymore like you used to hear for the previous 100 years from the 1890′s to the 1990′s.

  3. BBQFanNo1 says:

The one area in music that should never have been changed is the vocals by autotune. Now I’m not saying autotune is completely bad but autotune has been overused in the mainstream world global music industry shortly after it came out widely available in the late 1990′s . It is like too much dependance? on the overuse of lip synching I complained about on certain programs back in the 1970′s.

  4. BBQFanNo1 says:

Neil Young does have a valid and very important? point. The biggest problem I have with Music today is not so much the change of instruments. I have always been an advocate of change in music for over 40 years since I began both bass guitar playing and also music recording.

  5. BBQFanNo1 says:

Are there any really happy songs in global music industry anymore since 2000? When there is since 2000 it? is very rare.

Every once in a while, somebody comes along to make us realize what a true gift our own lives are… the lives we all too often take for granted.
The knowledge that she has shared her love with so many people will have made her transition to a better place smoother, and the open way she spoke about it gives me hope that I might one day be so brave.
Death is a part of life, and I love? that she has opened the conversation for others in a similar situation.
May she sleep in heavenly peace.

I didn’t “meet” her until about a month after she died. I’m 15 with cystic fibrosis and I hope I can be HALF the fighter she was. You go, Eva. Please tell Emily Haager in heaven that I love and miss her. Also tell her that she’s gotten me into blogging and publically speaking about? the connections between surfing and CF. I love you Emily and Eva.
